Millennium Fellowship Project: Security Literacy and Data Protection
Security Literacy and Data Protection
Objective: To educate and empower vulnerable communities to protect themselves from cyber threats and data breaches, promoting a culture of security literacy and responsible data handling.
Target Audience:Low-income households, seniors, and marginalized groups with limited digital literacy, youth .
Key Activities:
1. Develop and disseminate accessible security literacy resources (workshops, guides, videos).
2. Conduct community outreach and engagement to promote the importance of data protection.
3. Collaborate with local organizations to provide training and support.
4. Establish a mentorship program for community members to become security ambassadors.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Improved security awareness and behaviors among target communities.
2. Enhanced data protection practices and reduced risk of cyber threats.
3. Empowered community members to become security advocates and leaders.
