know l will mentor more young people to be discovering their potential and capacity to
achieve what they want to achieve in life, through mindset change l know that the
communities will prosper and it is my desire to make things happen by being part of
this fellowship and being able to implement different projects across Malawi and

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment in Gender Equility, Economic and Health and Well-Being
This project is concerned with zero poverty, gender equality and mental health. The youth empowering is done in terms of economic stability through montorship, awareness and group discussions. It also looks at issues of Gender Equality so that there must be no imbalances in terms of opportunities between boys and girls and mental health under health and well-being as an SDG.
About the Millennium Fellow
Gertrude Kaimfa is a young Malawian who is ambitious and focused . Gertrude is
pursuing social economic history at University of Malawi and currently a final year
student. She has interest on matters that concerns the community growth through
empowerment of young people to be practicing readership positions and being
mentored towards achieving great ideas and visions through different community
initiatives. She is also interested much on justice across the world that is why Gertrude
has joined African student for liberty and CCJP as a director of social welfare to make
sure that justice prevails. It is her desire to continue exponding and showcasing her
interest by being part of Millennium Fellowship to implement more plans on matters
that relate to growth
