Millennium Fellowship Project: Financial Gap Reduction Project

In Malawi most people do not value assets they have. For instance people fail to access loan yet they have goats, cattles and other farm properties. There are many challenges that people face due to lack of awareness and collaboration to different organizations. One of the areas is Chiradzulu districts. This project is aimed at providing awareness and access to funding in agriculture. Financial management is also at the heart of this project. Under United National Sustainable Development Goals this project target to achieve many goals. This projects takes a mult-dimension approach. Some of the targets to achieve the following SDGs 1, Zero poverty. 2, Zero Hunger. 3, Gender and Equality. This project is a transformative initiative designed to address income inequality by fostering financial literacy, empowering underserved communities, and promoting sustainable economic opportunities. The tour takes a holistic approach to tackling financial disparities by combining education, collaboration, and resource accessibility. With a focus on tangible outcomes, the initiative aims to empower individuals to achieve financial independence and narrow economic gaps in society.

About the Millennium Fellow

NDADZIWA MATIKI, a driven and passionate undergraduate at the University of Malawi, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geography. As a Malawian citizen, he's dedicated to bridging the poverty gap, mitigating climate change, and championing education. With a wealth of international community experience, NDADZIWA has successfully led projects and philanthropic initiatives, showcasing outstanding leadership and sustainability. He aspires to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, harnessing his skills to drive positive change and create a lasting impact.
