" Problem solving and leadership are key tenets for me. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the platform to greatly explore these as well as trainings that build up on what I already know and allows me to execute with the lessons learned. Just as with every passion, the sound of environmental sustainability, climate action and leadership gets me energized and excited. There's a saying that if you enjoy doing it even without being paid, then you might just have found your life's purpose. I'm excited that I get to do something I enjoy on this global platform. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Community Impact
The Project is tagged Sustainable Tomorrow. It comprises enlightenment and action. The enlightenment component involved a webinar that held on the 26th of October and visitations to primary, secondary and tertiary institutions as well as a market where we plan to educate them with visual and hands on approach. The action component is the setting up of plastic collectors at the visited places that will give action to the education offered and help imbibe the spirit of recycling and a circular economy in those met.
