Millennium Fellowship Project: The Healthy Future For Children Initiative

The Healthy Future for Children Initiative is a community-focused project aimed at improving child health outcomes by addressing harmful traditional practices in the treatment of childhood illnesses. The initiative educates mothers and caregivers about the dangers of harmful traditional practices in the care of their children. Through outreach programs, interactive sessions, and educational materials, the project promotes safer, evidence-based healthcare practices, fostering healthier futures for children in the community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Fogooluwahan Osokoya is a medical student and aspiring future doctor dedicated to making a meaningful impact in child healthcare. She was born in Lagos and resides in Ibadan. She is a final year medical student at the University of Medical Sciences Ondo State. She has volunteer experience in private hospitals and leadership roles in the Medicolegal Society and Medical Student Association Senate, Fogooluwahan has developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and advocacy. Passionate about child health, Fogooluwahan is committed to reducing childhood mortalities and morbidities. With a unique blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills, Fogooluwahan is can't wait to make a positive difference in the world.
