Millennium Fellowship Project: FITBUDGLOBAL
This platform is dedicated to promoting healthy living and reducing the risk of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) by encouraging positive lifestyle changes. The focus is on advocating for healthy eating, regular physical activity, and the reduction of tobacco and alcohol use. By fostering a culture of health, this initiative aims to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
About the Millennium Fellow
Joy Ometere Michael is a young and intelligent lady with a passion for health and fitness. Born in Niger State, she currently resides in Kwara State and is pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of Medical Sciences.
Her interest in health and fitness began in 2020, inspired by her mother's influence. Since then, she has been intentional about maintaining a fit lifestyle. In 2024, Joy launched her official platform, FitBudGlobal, aimed at promoting fitness as a lifestyle and encouraging positive changes to combat Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The platform focuses on inspiring healthy living and healthy families, particularly within the Christian community.
In addition to her medical studies, Joy has completed few online courses in Nutrition and plans to expand her expertise in lifestyle medicine as a future doctor.
