United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Waste Wise Initiative

The Waste Wise Initiative is a group project spearheaded by current fellows of the 2024 Millennium Fellowship aims to highlight to the immediate community, the dangers of improper waste disposal, the importance of proper waste disposal methods and sustainable methods to ensure proper waste management methods are adopted.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tolulope Oluwafemi is a young girl who schools in the University of Medical Sciences Ondo and resides in Nigeria. She has always been passionate about making an impact in society through opportunities in medicine. This has now translated to a passion to help the community and its environs through sanitation and waste management. Millennium Fellowship offers such opportunity through the avenue of campus impact. For Tolulope, this opportunity would avail the means to actualize her dream of giving back to the community. She's very eager for this and cannot wait to see what the fellowship program has to offer
