United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Her Voice Matters

Her Voice Matters Initiative is based on creating equitable and sustainable future where every girl in Nigeria has full autonomy over her future,life and health and eventually design a future that no longer tolerates gender discrimination/stereotypes through awareness, education, health and policy reform advocacy especially at the local level, to address the challenges faced by women and enact local protection to secure their rights.

About the Millennium Fellow

Akinyele Mary Aduragbemi is a young hardworking lady born on the 28th of January, 2005.She is a native of Ikeji-Arakeji,Osun state but lives in Ibadan,Oyo state.She is so passionate about creating awareness for young people in order not to fall astray,educates them on how to plan their lifes' by minimizing child birth and optimising child spacing to reduce maternal and child's mortality also to improve economic growth of the country. She aspire to be in a professional field where she can cultivates this habit of creating awareness and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goal.
