About the Millennium Fellow

Traore Dohou Daouda, also known as Iron Man, was born on January 23, 2001, in Buyo, in the Nawa region of Côte d'Ivoire. An Ivorian by both parents, he completed his primary education at LBS in a village near Buyo. In 2013, he passed the entrance exam for the sixth grade and continued his studies in Buyo for five years, eventually obtaining his BEPC. Unfortunately, he had to take a gap year due to illness. After obtaining his BEPC, he moved to Daloa for his secondary education, where he initially failed the baccalaureate exams on the first attempt. Discouraged but determined, he found the courage to persevere, and by the grace of God, he succeeded brilliantly. He was admitted to Félix Houphouët-Boigny University in Cocody, Abidjan, where he was placed in the English department. Arriving in Abidjan for the first time in late September 2022, he took his first steps on campus in October to finalize his registration. After completing the enrollment process, classes began. It was there that he met Dr. Wise, who spoke to him about leadership. Impressed by his speech, he joined the LIB organization in November. A few months later, during the investiture ceremony organized by LIB, he wrote his first-ever English theater piece.
And after that he has been touched by the way things were happening in his community. He started talking initiative for a sustainable community. And he also care of social justice. That is what led him to take part to international activity to strengthen his leadership.
