United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

I will work closely with others, exchanging ideas and thoughts, which will help us all develop new skills. Ultimately, this experience highlights the importance of quality education, which is strengthened through the sharing of knowledge. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Peaceful Educational Environment

Our project as Millennium Fellowship Cohort from the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Côte d'Ivoire ; is "Peaceful Educational Environment". This project is an anwser to the instabilities to which ivorian educational environment is subjected especially in time of election. To do so, our project is divided into two main parts: - Firstly,will be organizing sensitizing campaigns to sensitize our brothers and sisters students in order to prevent any kind of violence at school.
-Secondly, we will organize cleaning activitiss to make the physical environment clean.
This project advance the SDG 4: Quality Education. This initiative aims to create safe, clean, and peaceful learning spaces, ensuring better educational outcomes for students.

About the Millennium Fellow

SAME YAO WILLIAMS DAVID is a young leader from Côte d'Ivoire, studying English at Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan. Passionate about photography and video editing, he discovered his interests through the NGO Leadership Initiative Board. A part from that, the education issues has always been important to him, Same Yao believes that the future of any society depends on the education and skills of its youth. He actively participates in conferences and training to share his knowledge and inspire others. He aspires to work in a professional environment that values teamwork, leadership, and commitment.
