Millennium Fellowship Project: Ugwu Nwanyi (Pride Of A Woman)
UGWU NWANYI( Pride of a woman) is a project aimed at promoting good sexual health among young ladies of reproductive age. It educates them on daily menstrual and sexual hygiene practices, as well as preventive measures and lifestyles to avoid gynecological illnesses such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometriosis, and STDs, contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
About the Millennium Fellow
Ohaeri Idinma Pearl is a passionate medical student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State, Nigeria, with a strong commitment to the sexual health of young ladies in her community. Born in Abia State and now residing in Anambra, she is driven by her dedication to service. Pearl founded "Ugwu Nwanyi", a platform dedicated to educating women in her community on the importance of maintaining good sexual health. she aspires to be in a professional field that allows her to make a maximum impact in future and also contribute to the development of the United Nations' sustainable goals
