Millennium Fellowship Project: Safety Management Practices in Industries
The research project aims to access safety management practices in the industries, as Nnewi is a major area for industrialization in Nigeria. It assessed the employees' knowledge of these practices and their compliance with them, as well as the effect it has on their health, performance, and organizational performance at large. The research hypotheses were tested, and they showed a very significant relationship between safety management practices and employees' health, performance, and organizational performance. Therefore, every organization should prioritize the health and well-being of its employees, as this will not only promote their health but also drive organizational and economic growth. Employees, on the other hand, should also comply with safety policies that guide their work activities.

Jennifer Ishiwu is a goal-oriented, resourceful and ambitious individual. She is from Nigeria and is currently studying Environmental Health Science at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus. Jennifer has always shown passion for her career and with a great drive for success, she sets targets and works relentlessly to achieve them. She demonstrates exceptional collaborative and leadership skills, coupled with strong working ethics that inspire and motivate others to work towards achieving a goal.
