Millennium Fellowship Project: The FlowChart
The FlowChart project is visualization the burden of period poverty in Nigeria through a web app as a means of creating awareness, tracking progress, directing interventions and promoting advocacy
About the Millennium Fellow
Ogochukwu Azubogu is a bright and innovative medical student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. She is passionate about research tailored towards solving problems related to accessibility, efficiency and gender disparity in healthcare. She is also interested in the use of data science to make previously undetectable deductions and applications from health data. While in school, she has had experience with advocacy for women's rights and social justice. She has also volunteered in several medical outreaches and health awareness campaigns.
After she graduates, Ogochukwu plans to earn a master's degree in public health and pursue a specialty in cardiology where she plans to actively conduct researches and apply solutions to help mitigate oversights as a result of poor research and knowledge base on women's health and increase efficiency in healthcare
