ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Cleanliness is next to godliness. A good environment enhances good health and hygiene, with the help of Millennium Fellowship I'll be able to promote change starting from my immediate surrounding to my community and then the larger society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental sustainability project

My project is about environmental sustainability. Keeping my immediate environment clean. In collaboration with #dontlitterinitiative , we created a group in my faculty " fossa task force, charged with the responsibility of our environment with our slogan" Green FOSSA, healthy environment ".
We dug up gutters for easy flow of water during raining season,Pick up wastes around every department in the faculty,keep our trees and grasses well trimmed,bought baskets for each department in the faculty, do a weekly rating on the neatest and dirtiest department.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ossaji Amarachi Cecilia is a 22 year old undergraduate student of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. She's a Nigerian and is currently studying in the eastern part of the country.
What drives her is her passion for good hygiene, cleanliness and good health.
She's currently studying social work under the social science faculty in the university of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu state.
