Millennium Fellowship Project: Rise Above Drugs (RAD)
The name of our project is 'Rise Above Drugs (RAD)'. It alligns with SDG 3; Good Health and Wellbeing. It is a project targeted to providing interventions and profering sustainable solutions to combat the rise of substance use or/and abuse among the students of my campus, University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Our goal is to help at least one percent (1%) of the students on our campus to break free from substance use by prevention, support and recobvery initiatives.
Our intiative provides social impact by reducing the societal burden of substance abuse in our campus.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nzekeeh Chidera Nancy is a Pharmacy Student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She multifaceted individual who has made a profound impact in her community through her roles as a class representative, volunteer, and public and mental health advocate.
As a class representative, Nzekeeh has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, effectively communicating with her peers and professors to address concerns and promote student well-being. Her outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail have enabled her to successfully coordinate events and initiatives that foster a sense of community and inclusivity.
As a public and mental health advocate, Nzekeeh has been a vocal champion for mental health awareness and education. She has worked to reduce stigma around mental illness, promoting open and honest conversations about mental health. Her advocacy has inspired countless individuals to prioritize their mental well-being and seek support when needed.
Nzekeeh's achievements are a testament to her dedication, passion, and resilience. Her commitment to creating positive change has made a lasting impact on those around her, and her future endeavors are sure to continue inspiring and uplifting others.
