Millennium Fellowship Project: Career Development Initiative
Career Development initiative is a project targeted at gradually reaching a good percentage of secondary school student. It aims at educating secondary school students on the career path they should take and opportunities they can venture into that can affect their lives and their future as a whole. Career development refers to the process an individual may undergo to evolve their occupational status. It is the process of making decisions for long term learning, to align personal needs of physical or psychological fulfillment with career advancement opportunities. The project prioritized hosting awareness program in Community Secondary school, Obukpa, Nsukka. It enlightened about 300 students on the importance of choosing the right career path and also opportunities in their related field of study
About the Millennium Fellow
Okafor Chioma Vivian is a Pharmacy Undergraduate, a Public Health Enthusiast, a Health Advocate- Public Speaker and a Customer Relationship Manager. She is a student of the prestigious University of Nigeria, tremendously passionate about the medical sector alongside would leverage her skills, knowledge, competence and expertise acquired consequently upon her cause of study to initiate and contribute to changes in the medical sector and the society at large. Currently, she is a member of ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research, a non-governmental organization that is committed to raising exceptional pharmacists through personal development and professional development.
