Millennium Fellowship Project: Substance Abuse Awareness Program (SAAP)
By informing the public about the dangers, offering preventative techniques, and putting people in touch with treatment options, this effort seeked to lower substance misuse. Through a combination of community engagement, educational campaigns, and collaborations with nearby groups, we were able to accomplish this.
About the Millennium Fellow
Okongwu Esther Bukuechi is a bright, focused and determined first class student studying Pharmacy in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently studying in Enugu, Nigeria. Esther has always been passionate about her career and professional development by volunteering in the health organisations like The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcome Research (ISPOR), International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF) and helping to improve healthcare decisions and public health services in her community and the society at large. She has shown great academic excellence from her high school years and currently in her college years. She aspires to make a positive impact in her career field and also provide longlasting solutions to healthcare issues inorder to lead to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
