" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship has the ability to expose and train me on collaboration with like minds who are change agents and who actively pursue their dreams and help others realize their own dreams.
As a fellow, my scope/ reach is broadened and I can reach a wider audience using the opportunities available for fellows both locally and internationally. I do the work of planning towards achieving sustainable development goals and UNAI principles because I've seen first hand just how important information is and many lack information and access to basic amenities. I would like to leave people better than I met them by finding innovative and creative ways to see to their urgent needs as well as empowering them to do better for themselves even without supervision, hence improving quality of life. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus Wellness Initiative ( CWI)

The Campus Wellness Initiative (CWI) is a project targeted project aimed at improving the wellbeing of the student population at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Focused on promoting healthier eating habits, CWI successfully addressed the challenges students face in accessing affordable and nutritious meals on campus. As students living on campus, we have experienced firsthand the difficulty of affording a balanced diet due to the high cost of foodstuffs. Understanding the importance of good nutrition for overall health and cognitive performance, we conducted research to identify cheaper food alternatives that provide essential nutrients. Through this initiative, students were educated on practical and healthier food substitutes, equipping them with the knowledge to make better dietary choices despite financial constraints. CWI effectively empowered the campus community to prioritize their nutrition and wellbeing.
