Millennium Fellowship Project: Substance Abuse Awareness Program (SAAP)
By informing the public about the dangers, offering preventative techniques, and putting people in touch with treatment options, this effort seeked to lower substance misuse. Through a combination of community engagement, educational campaigns, and collaborations with nearby groups, we were able to accomplish this.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oledibe Ann Ifeoma is a penultimate pharmacy student of University of Nigeria Nsukka. She plans to practice as a hospital pharmacist and she also has keen interest in Public Health and Health communication. Asides being a student she is passionate about her professional development and gaining relevant skills to prepare her for her future career path. She volunteers in organisations such as PANS Public Health Team UNN where she has been a member since 2021 and also The Professional Society for Health and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) where she has been a member since 2021 and she joins in going for health outreach to empower lives in educate students within the university community and also those who reside around the school community.
She has also gained experience in hospital pharmacy during the time she worked at two hospitals in their pharmacy unit along with the hospital pharmacist.
She has held leadership roles in some of the organisations she has served. She was the Assistant Secretary General in ISPOR for the 2022/2023 session, She is currently the Secretary General in ISPOR for the 2023/2024 session. She is also currently the Project Coordinator for PANS Public Health Team for the 2023/2024 session.
She also loves to travel and try out new food recipes. She currently stays at Nsukka, Enugu State where she goes to school but other times she stays in Lagos with her family.
