Educated the public (youths) about the significance of mental well-being in our daily activities including decision making.
Targeted Munali secondary school and we engaged in an interactive discussion which was a success and lasted for approximately 4-5 hours
About the Millennium Fellow
Ashley Matswetu was born in Namibia and currently resides in Lusaka, Zambia. She is an ambitious student at the University of Zambia, where she is pursuing a major in Development Studies with a minor in Psychology. Ashley’s academic journey is driven by her deep passion for helping others and her commitment to addressing societal challenges through the lens of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the University of Zambia, Ashley is actively involved in the UNZA Youth Association, where she collaborates with fellow students to promote awareness and action towards the SDGs. Her leadership within this organization reflects her dedication to fostering positive change in her community and beyond.
With aspirations to work in diplomatic service, Ashley aims to leverage her education and experiences to contribute effectively to the SDGs on a global scale. Her vision is to create sustainable solutions that empower communities and improve lives, embodying her belief in the transformative power of commitment and collaboration. Ashley Matswetu is a dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the world.
