" Having seen the current problem faced by the majority of youths within my country that is drugs and substance abuse, it was therefore prudent to come up with this idea of educating fellow youths on the dangers and how to come out of this addictive and harmful act. It was a coincident that both Millennium Fellowship and I shared same interest therefore it drove me positively towards implementing the idea. To add that, it was a great honour and privilege to have like minded fellows . "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Healthy Lifestyle And Combating Substance Abuse
The project aims to eradicate drug abuse among youth by educating and sensitizing them on its dangers. With a vision of zero tolerance for drug abuse by 2030 and beyond, the project strives to create a drug-free environment, raising awareness and promoting prevention strategies to help young people thrive and avoid the harmful effects of substance abuse.
This issue has led to moral decay, as well as the deterioration of able, visionary, energetic, inventive, and innovative individuals in society.
