The knowledge and skills I will gain from Millennium Fellowship will act as ladder to push me to achieve my goals, gain more student volunteers, and attract the residents to work towards attaining a clean city. Millennium Fellowship Project: Glitter-Free Juba
I am applying at new fellowship about youth peace and security where I can learn new ways to approach and implement more activities on Glitter-free Juba project. I would like to plant trees and create a safe space for youths to exercise their capabilities and talents
About the Millennium Fellow
Beatrice Loro is the founder and owner of Mandara Youth Foundation, an initiative that brings out youth’s potential, talents and capabilities to shape their community through the patriotic act of volunteerism and writing. She is passionate about SDG 13 and seeks to address climate related crisis in her community through her foundation. Beatrice is a vibrant multi-talented writer; poetess and storyteller. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Juba. She fell in love with writing at a tender age of 10, since then writing has been an integral part of her life. She published remarkable poetry and stories. Through Mandara Youth Foundation and her passion for writing, Beatrice aspire to influence youths in her community positively in the act of volunteerism and writing and change her country’s narrative.
