United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Dogood Youth Development Initiative (DYDI)
Dogood Youth Development Initiative(DYDI) is a non-profit organization based in South Sudan, dedicated to empowering young people by equipping them with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to drive positive change in their communities.
Our mission is to “unlock the potential of young people by providing access to education, life skills training, economic opportunities, and civic engagement, fostering a culture of social responsibility and resilience”. Our vision is to "To build a generation of empowered, responsible, and innovative youth who contribute to sustainable development in their societies"
Goals include : To Equip 25000 young people with practical skills and knowledge to enhance their employability, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance within 5 years.
Improve access to quality Education for 15,000 underserved youth especially in the rural areas within 5 years.
Develop the leadership potential of youth encourage their active participation community development and decision-making processes.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lukudu Philip is a highly competitive, focused, dedicated, kind, determined and diligent young leader, entrepreneur and medical officer. Born in loka west Boma, Kenyi payam, Lainya county, Central Equatoria State. He grew up as a refugee in Uganda, attained his UACE with best grades despite being raised by single mother. His promising high school academic performance earned him bursaries as he battled financial challenges. His ambitious is to become a medical doctor with the hope of helping the poor and advancing the Sustainable development goals. He has been seen advocating for good policies, welfare, development, civic space for the young people. His Dogood Youth development initiative envisioned to unlock potentials of young people for prosperous citizenship. With the weight added by MCN, he strongly credence to contribute to social and economic development of his community and internationally.
