Millennium Fellowship Project: The Fight Against Zoonoses Initiative

The 'Fight Againt Zoonoses' initiative aims to contribute towards the fight against Zoonosis in Kenya, East Africa and the World at large. Using research, community engagement, capacity building and offering veterinary extension services the initiative aims to reduce the occurrence of zoonotic diseases in both humans and animals. This project contributes towards SDG 3 which stands for good health and well being. Through our efforts we hope to increased awareness among community members about the importance of preventing zoonotic diseases, empower farmers, youth, medical practitioners and veterinarians on one health principles to motivate that to make a difference and nurture strong partnerships between various stakeholders committed to animal, environmental and human health. The FAZ initiative dosesnt just believe in management of the health crisis but in a healthier future for all living beings.
