United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Zeal

The project was a food drive targeting street families and the homeless. It invited gearing up twenty five team members feeding 130 street people.

About the Millennium Fellow

Habiba Abdullahi Mohamed is a bright, young and globally competitive Undergraduate
Law student at the University of Nairobi , Faculty of Law, Parklands Campus. She was
born in Garissa Kenya, and is currently studying in Nairobi, Kenya. Habiba has always
been passionate about her advocacy for social justice, rights of the marginalized
community and the needs of the less fortunate in her society.Throughout her high
school years and currently in her university years, she has successfully started and has
been running a quite successful charity organization. She has undertaken a number of
projects that have made life a little better for the vulnerable people in her society.
Habiba aspires to be a professional field where she can cultivate these advocacies
further and develop them, and provide her own contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
