ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Personally i'm driven by my curiosity and willingness to learn and usher in new ideas and innovations to everyday problems. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Urithi Empowerment Trust project

The project is called Urithi Empowerment Trust seeking to educate idle land holder on how to set up trusts for their lands to economically empower their families and tackle the issue of disinheritance and food insecurity and poverty and gender discrimination in terms of succession.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mbarak Khalid Mazrui is an eager, curious and highly motivated young man. His main areas of interest include governance accountability and human rights. This is what led him to pursue a Bachelor of Laws LLB programme at the University of Nairobi. As well as signing up to be a member of Amnesty International Kenya Chapter. He looks forward to being among the founding members of the Amnesty International Kenya - University of Nairobi Campus Chapter to continue raising awareness on accountabilty and human rights. He looks forward to beginning his Millennium Fellowship Programme to further his knowledge on ways of global impact in this modern day and age.
