Millennium Fellowship Project: Aspire for Her
This project aims to fill this gap by providing young women with accurate information about menstrual and mental health, promoting open conversations, offering practical strategies for managing both and providing equipment. Through workshop, and partnerships with healthcare professionals, the project will empower young women to take care of their health in a holistic and informed way.
About the Millennium Fellow
Malema Patience Oside is a very ambitious self driven open minded and outgoing
Individual .She is currently a student of the University of Nairobi pursuing Bachelor of
Arts in political science and Public administration, sociology and Armed conflict and
peace study close to completion. Patience was born and breed in Kenya. He has
currently graduated from the school of The African Group of Negotiators Experts
Support (AGNES) where she acquired lots of skills and knowledge in different fields on
matters climate change which is a globe pressing imperative . Driven with the passion
on climate change matters,she has constantly been in the front line of leading and
supporting climate change forums Globally. She has always been spearheading
advocacy for youth and children been to greatly be part and parcel of the adaptation
and mitigation measures of climate change. With outspoken courage,determination,
passion, synergies and she good rapport with the peers she has achieved alot . She
has also led and support various drive specifically pad drive in her local village with an
aim of ending period poverty inline with SDGs 1,3 and 5. Malema has the desire to get
the platform which this fellowship gives,the helpful networks and the more and
advance skill inorder to achieve her aspiration of advocacy and social justice for the
good of the human and also ensure a inclusive and intergenerational equity.
