United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Earth Rescue Program

My project aims to bring awareness to animal rights as well as encourage more people to be more conscious of how they treat their environment

About the Millennium Fellow

Precious Kendi Mutembei is a vibrant and determined law student. She was born in Meru, Kenya and later moved to the capital, Nairobi for her higher education studies at the University of Nairobi. For as long as anyone can remember she has been passionate about environmental conservation and animal rights. She organized tree planting and environmental cleaning activities in high school and continues to further her passion in the university. She was an avid member of the Presidential Award Scheme in high school which taught her discipline and resilience. She hopes to use her degree in future to advocate for animal rights, the environment and further the United Nation's SDGs.
