United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Weka Msichana Shuleni

Weka msichana shuleni is a project by millennium fellow Ruth Njoki Ndungu that aims at offering more access to education to girls. I plan on getting aid to offer school fees to at least 20 girls through donor funding I plan on collaborating with my millennium fellows to build this project.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ruth Njoki Ndungu is a smart, ambitious, and hardworking young woman who is passionate about the issues faced by women all across the world, especially when it comes to access to education. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Nairobi main campus. Ruth is also takes key interests in topics pertaining the political and economic state of the world. She always puts her best foot forward with anything she's involved and intends to do the same in the Millennium Fellowship.
