University of Nairobi Parklands | Nairobi, Kenya | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 3

" I believe that compassion is the purpose of humanity. Being a millennium fellow will provide me with a platform to extend compassion to young girls who are navigating life and their sexual, reproductive and mental health. I will be able to sharpen my interpersonal skills and learn from the girls about their experiences. I will also be able to interact with various players in ensuring that these girls are armed with adequate information and products to navigate their sexual and reproductive health. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Comprehensive Wellness
The project focuses on educating adolescent girls in public high schools about menstrual health, sexual reproductive health, and mental health. The team aims to provide talks on these topics, distribute menstrual products, and encourage the formation of student-led clubs to ensure continued learning. They also seek to foster mental health-seeking behavior and create supportive environments where students can safely share their experiences, breaking the stigma around these important issues.
