" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides a platform to collaborate with like-minded changemakers and amplify efforts to empower youth with digital skills and environmental awareness. I do this work because I believe unlocking the potential of young leaders is essential to driving sustainable development and creating a brighter future for our communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Literacy For All

We are working on a Project on Digital Literacy which aligns well with SDG number 4 'Quality Education.' We therefore conduct training workshops to the underserved communities of East Africa. This project aims to empower the marginalized communities by training them on how to enhance digital skills, promote online safety, foster digital citizenship and create access to educational technologies. With this project, we aim to empower participants to navigate the online landscape confidently and safely, and also increase job searches for the youths, enrolment in free online courses, search for scholarships, and create awareness on the best ways and platforms to start and market a business online.
