" I am driven by a deep commitment to social justice and community empowerment, inspired by my own experiences and the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will provide me with the skills and network needed to further my vision of creating sustainable solutions for communities in need. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals to drive meaningful change and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Literacy For All
We are working on a Project on Digital Literacy which aligns well with SDG number 4 'Quality Education.' We therefore conduct training workshops to the underserved communities of East Africa. This project aims to empower the marginalized communities by training them on how to enhance digital skills, promote online safety, foster digital citizenship and create access to educational technologies. With this project, we aim to empower participants to navigate the online landscape confidently and safely, and also increase job searches for the youths, enrolment in free online courses, search for scholarships, and create awareness on the best ways and platforms to start and market a business online.
