Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Literacy For All
We are working on a Project on Digital Literacy which aligns well with SDG number 4 'Quality Education.' We therefore conduct training workshops to the underserved communities of East Africa. This project aims to empower the marginalized communities by training them on how to enhance digital skills, promote online safety, foster digital citizenship and create access to educational technologies. With this project, we aim to empower participants to navigate the online landscape confidently and safely, and also increase job searches for the youths, enrolment in free online courses, search for scholarships, and create awareness on the best ways and platforms to start and market a business online.
About the Millennium Fellow
Stella Kavana is self-motivated and a hardworking student studying a degree in Business administration at the university of the people. She was born in Kenya. Stella is a born leader who is a good communicator and passionate about the issues affecting the community where she lives. she is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those she interacts with. As a leader she accommodates all people and can easily interact with people from different backgrounds. Stella is very vocal when it comes to youth issues and advocating for girl child and women empowerment.
