United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Albertine Ishimwe Matabaro, is a young and talented student of University of Rwanda . She was born in Kigali , Rwanda in 2001.she is the first born in the family of three children . currently they live in Nyagatare district .
She always put other first as she was a student prefect during secondary school , she made a great leader .she completed PCB in high school , she always had a dream of saving lives , she wasn't aware that it will be through conserving nature .she was always for Biodiversity , likely now she's a Forest and Biodiversity conservation student in UR Busogo Campus , joining forces with members of Environmental Activists Association to bring about a better future through nature conservation.
