Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project
Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anicet NSENGIYUMVA is a Dedicated and environmentally conscious agroforestry student at the University of Rwanda, Busogo campus. Hailing from the heart of Rwanda, he is deeply committed to fostering a sustainable future for his community. With a keen interest in environmental protection, livelihood development, and sustainable agroforestry practices, Anicet is passionate about implementing projects that harmonize nature and human well-being.
His academic pursuits, coupled with his practical aspirations, position him as a promising advocate for sustainable development. Anicet envisions a world where agroforestry practices not only safeguard the environment but also uplift the lives of his fellow citizens. Through his future endeavors, he aims to contribute significantly to the realization of Rwanda’s green growth agenda and the improvement of people’s livelihoods.
