ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Genevieve UWINGABIRE is courageous lady,who dreams bigger ,a leader for change, an education activist and passionate undergraduate Rwandan University at Busogo Campus.
She was born in Rwanda and currently living there. For so long, Genevieve has been always passionate about the global environmental conservation as in her high schools joined the conservation teams,thereby contributing to conservation activities such as : planting trees and water conservation practices, and undegradable wastes management.
Currently, in her college years she keeps contributing to the environmental conservation by teaching young child on conservation lessions, thereby working in lession in conservation organisation.
Genevieve is inspired in working together with others to protect the nature and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nation's Sustainable Goals, to play a role in Global Conservation.
