ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jean d'Amour TUYIZERE is a dedicated and ambitious student pursuing a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics at University of Rwanda. Born and raised in Rwanda, Jean d'Amour developed a deep interest in agricultural development and its impact on economy, particularly in context of my home country.
Driven by my desire to become a meaningful impact, I'm eagerly to contribute to development of innovative solutions that address contemporary agricultural challenges. I'm confident that my strong ethic, adaptability, and resilience make me a valuable candidate for the Millennium Fellowship of 2024.
