United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Patrick Niyonshuti is a bright ,young and competitive Agri economics student in university of Rwanda Busogo campus.
I was born in Rwanda and it's where I'm resided, I'm currently studying still in university of Rwanda.
For as long as I could remember I'm passionate about my advocacies .
Throughout my high school year and even college I'm successful organized in outstanding leadership.
I'm also eagerly looking forward to keep in mind about sustainable development of the world and make it perfect greening. I aspire to be in professional field where i can express this advocacy and provide my contribution to the world as whole.
