ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

I am excited to increase my anticipatory competence by study new ways of learning and creativity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rosine Shema is a bright, young and globally competitive pre- Agriculture student at the University of Rwanda. She born in the Nyanza district resides in Rwanda, and is currently studying in University of Rwanda, Rwanda, truly a citizen of the world. For as long as she could remember, Shema Rosine has always been passionate about Agriculture for bring sustainable agriculture for all. And she going to work on it until she reaches on her goal.
Throughout her high school years and currently in her college years, she has successfully organised various agriculture projects and sustainable agriculture, which Through her outstanding leadership, she plans to continue in the future. Shema Rosine aspires to be in a professional field where she can cultivate these advocacies further, and provide her own contribution in the development of united nation's sustainable Goals.
