United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.

About the Millennium Fellow

Eric Tuyishime is a bright and enthusiastic student at the University of Rwanda's College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. Dedicated to making a strong impact on Rwandan agriculture, he is actively involved in initiatives that aim to improve the agricultural landscape in his country. Eric is passionate about using his knowledge and skills to drive positive change and contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural practices in Rwanda.
