" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique opportunity to serve my community while continuing my studies. As a Crop Production student, I’m eager to apply my skills to support teen mothers in rural areas, helping them prevent malnutrition and achieve financial independence through small-scale farming. I’ve seen young people in these areas engaging in agriculture without the necessary knowledge to make it sustainable. The Millennium Fellowship will equip me with strategic and leadership skills to work alongside them and drive meaningful change. I’m eager to learn and grow as a changemaker through this experience. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Giving Project

Green Giving project is a project which was focused on two main SDGs, zero hunger and climate action, in this project we planted and distributed over 1000 fruit trees in our community while prioritizing mothers and the elderly. It is a project that impacted over 500 people in our community, and we have been following up with the families who received the fruit trees and the results are promising.
