United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Humanity, adaptability and creativity motivated by personal experience and thinking, drives me to doing thing that are difficult to some people. As a young leader, the skills I shall gain from Millennium Fellowship program will help me to develop and executive different projects aiming at establishment of the change in the community. Being a millennium fellow will help to enhance these skills collaboratively, and through meeting with other millennium fellows I shall gain more skills, ideas and experience . I'm very excited to continue exploring the problems in the society and finding the best way to address them and help the community. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pathway to Potential

My project is called pathway to potential. It is found in SDG number 4 quality education. It is aiming at helping students from poor families to pursue their dreams in education. This includes helping them to study what they are passionate about and feel motivated to continue studying.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jackson SIBOMANA is a bright, young and competitive in University of Rwanda at Nyagatare campus. He was born in rural area in western province of Rwanda, in karongi district and currently resides in Rwanda. He has been always passionate about helping others and promoting humanity among the people . This is mainly because of the life he experienced since his childhood where he saw many young people giving up their dreams because of the financial situation and lacking of the people who could help. This motives made him dedicate to helping the young people to pursue their dreams. He wants to see the noticable changes among the society and he is committed to brighten the future of the people. He plans to go further in helping the people through different activities especially with education at the most part. Jackson aspires to be in professional field where he can cultivate and develop these humanity activities further, and provide his own contribution to the development of the United Nation's sustainable goal.
