Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering The Rwandan Community In Climate Action
The collaborative campaign titled "Empowering the Rwanda Community in Climate Action" was launched by a climate advocate group in partnership with Eco Ed Connection and MCN. This initiative aims to educate and engage different segments of the Rwandan community on climate change adaptation and mitigation. The campaign began at Group Scolaire EPA- Saint Michel in Kigali, focusing on educating students about climate change adaptation and water management. The second phase of the campaign included a community meeting held in the Nyarugenge sector at the Agatare cell bureau. This meeting aimed to further engage local communities in climate action, emphasizing practical measures for adaptation and mitigation. The campaign seeks to foster a comprehensive understanding of climate issues and promote sustainable practices across various community levels.
Key words: climate change, global warming, water conservation, pollution, adaptation and community participate.
