" Being interested in health education, I envisions to work on inequities with in health care delivery, and I believe quality health care delivery to be citizen's right rather than privilege. To work on it I plan to auto-train and engage in health education mainly focusing on the achievement of Goal 3 of united nations. I further plan to provide training on proper daily eye care. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project
Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.
About the Millennium Fellow
Being engaged in health care delivery profession, DUSHIMIMANA Beda were admitted in Bach. Hon in Ophthalmology at University of Rwanda Remera for four years, and he is now in level two. He was born and resides in Rwanda as one citizenship where he remarked critical gap in health education among Rwandans. He trained people in Kora cell of Nyarugenge district in Kigali city about proper hand washing subsequent to the completion of Fundamentals of community health Module and skills about seven aspects of ideal health.
