Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project
Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.
About the Millennium Fellow
Thank you, Emmanuel ISHIMWE I was born in Rwanda, near Gisenyi city, I am 23 years old, I am second born in my family of 8 childrens, I have completed my seconary school since 2021 with competence average marks in my national examination where I got 67/73, My goals was to become a probleme solver in my fellow villagers through implementing some projects which can be source of employment to some of my fellow villagers, and I think those activities can eradicate many difficulities in youth such as unemployment which was very common in my city. Now I am currently University of Rwanda student in College of Medicine in Department of Clinical Medivine and Community Health, And my dreams has never changed the aim is to solve those problems in my countrs so as to meet United Sustainable Development Goals.
