Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project
Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.
About the Millennium Fellow
Catheline HASHIMWEYEZU born on July 9, 2000 in Rwanda, is a passionate student teacher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology and Physical Education at University of Rwanda . With strong commitment and being passionate to fostering student growth and community wellness, Catheline has gained hands-on experience through various internships and volunteer work in diverse classroom and community settings. Her dedication to innovate teaching methods and creating inclusive learning environments has been well received by both peers and mentors. Outside the classroom , she enjoys reading researches especially the one talking about human rights and participating in community outreach programs. she aspires to inspire young minds and make a meaningful impact in the field of education and human well being.
