ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

By advancing oral health education, I aim to create lasting change in my community and beyond, fostering healthier lives for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project

Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tuyishime Honore is a brilliant and highly competent student in Dental Therapy at the University of Rwanda, born and residing in the Western Province of Rwanda. A dedicated Rwandan and global citizen, he has been passionate about improving community well-being through advocacy and awareness since childhood. His focus on oral health stems from observing health-related challenges in his local community. Throughout high school and university, Honore has actively contributed to health promotion and aims to initiate oral health research to eradicate oral diseases in Rwanda, the region, and beyond.
