ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2024

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Being part of Millennium Fellowship will be impactful to me through having all these skills. In advance, I believe to achieve my goal of working in fields to which I'm passionate about. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project

Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jean Paul Dusengimana is bright, and competitive biomedical laboratory student at university of Rwanda, Remera campus. He's young native of Rwanda and he truly believes in changing the community towards better living. He was always been passionate about caring patients and giving his advocacies to those whose in needs. Thought that, Jean Paul always target preventive treatment combined with early detection of curable diseases. Through his academic journey, he always put his effort in community mass screening and wish to never stop finding advocacies to wherever needed.
