Millennium Fellowship Project: BAHO NKABANDI PROJECT
Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.
About the Millennium Fellow
Joie Sophia is a young Female , currently pursuing mental health Nursing from 2021-25 at University of Rwanda . She is a dedicated and passionate student who is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of her community through empowering young generation about mental health wellness .
she has selected to be Millennium fellow class of 2024, under the project of undrstanding impacts of climate change on mental health. this project will build promising solution about creating eco-friendly program which help vulnerable people and non-vulnerable to be aware about the strategies of addressing it;s impact.
she is a hard worker and talented individual with enthusiasm of bring positive impact in community as well as on the field of health services .
.she is pro-active, a quick learner, she prioritize clients comfort and emotional well-being and she is detail oriented. she possess genuine passion for humanitarian work and well-being of vulnerable communities
