United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: BAHO NK'ABANDI PROJECT

Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ndahayo Francine is a passionate young lady pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Rwanda, Remera campus. She was born and raised in Rwanda. From an early age, she has embraced leadership roles, which has shaped her journey, leading to her current position as the Physiotherapy Class Representative. Francine is deeply committed to the belief that today’s youth hold the key to shaping the future. She is driven by a strong desire to be a catalyst for positive change, both in her community and beyond, aspiring to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the world.
